TONY WAY 'A TRUE LEGEND' PASSES AWAY
It gives us greatest regret and sadness that this morning Tony Way, a true legend and inspirational man, passed away.
Tony was a very successful rower in his era. In 1955 saw him, as stroke along with his crew, win the NARA championship held on the river torridge. Tony also coached many top crews at the club. He was also a WEARA umpire and was a very strong supporter of the South Coast Championships.
He will be very sadly missed by many in the club.
Our wishes go to his family, close friends and all who knew him at this sad time.
RIP Tony.
