Our Senior squad is open to all competent and experienced rowers looking to train to a high level of fitness, with a highly competitve squad structure. Entry to this group comes from our recreational/novice squad, or from experienced rowers who are new to the club. This squad trains most days, with a mixture of land based training aswell as two or three water outings a week.
The Recreational/Novice squad is generally made up from members just starting there journey into rowing. This squad is also for members who do not wish to commit to the same level of training as the senior squad.
This squads meets every Thursday for a land based session plus one to two water outings a week.
Our Junior Academy is open to all aged 12-18. The main aim is to have fun in rowing and enjoy themselves at the club, Our juniors have opportuniteis to compete at local events, as well as the chance to compete at national regattas. Our Juniors regularly compete every April for the West of England at the Junior Inter-Regional Rowing Regatta.
Our Junior Academy coaches hold recognised British Rowing Qualifications and are DBS checked. Our aims are to support our juniors develop thier skills and confidence in rowing. Our Club takes safety, welfare and safeguarding very seriously. Please see our club welfare section on this website.
